The price of bitcoin has risen to $5,088 today. The price of bitcoin is expected to stay the same over the course of the upcoming week.

The digital asset experienced a high of $5,320.88 earlier in the prior week but it has declined a bit and is currently at the $5,088 level today.

Market Sentiment

Market sentiment does seem to be high overall. Cryptocurrencies across the board have rallied with bitcoin leading the charge. Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, and other cryptocurrencies have seen slight upticks in their price over the past few weeks while experiencing a slight correction this past week.

A few anonymous cryptocurrency analysts such as Moon Capital on Twitter have expressed their opinions on the price of bitcoin. Moon Capital sees the price of bitcoin at $98 million USD in present dollars. The anonymous analyst expects the price of the currency to appreciate rapidly over the course of the next decade or two because of the fact that “it is the best and final form of money ever created”.

The anonymous analyst stated key points such as the fact that the underlying software continues to attract attention from banks, developers, and other entities which will help the sector to grow and accrue more value over time.

Moon Capital also mentioned another key point, the price of bitcoin has appreciated over the course of the boom and bust cycles.

Other Bitcoin News
The Japanese regulatory authority, the FSA, has approved a bitcoin exchange. The bitcoin exchange is expected to go live on April 16th, 2019. The exchange will offer spot trading and will be accepting new users on their platform. The exchange, Decurret, was vetted by the FSA for security, transparency and the ability to handle customer funds.
